Tremble all Ye who Enter
Very little of interest here, so few would care. However, this journal is friends only. The only exception are my Photo of the Day entries, which I reset to public if I remember.

If you feel strongly that you want to read what I have to say, reach me somehow and I'll ponder.

Today at work I experienced the most intense, very disoriented sense of deja vu.

A co-worked IMed me (one I don't know very well) and suddenly I just knew exactly what he was going to say because I had lived through this moment before. Exactly.

Then he said something completely different. So, the next time when I experience that at am right and attribute it to mystical forces (because you know me, I'm always doing that) point me back to this.

But really was weird how absolutely deja vu-ish it was and how strong the feeling was I had cycled around on that exact moment.

It has been a very long time since I subjected you all to cat pictures. Pixel is just an ugly adult cat now but Shannon emailed me and said Vince has been pining for kitty-cute.

One thing led to another tonight and I ended up tracking down that horribly old (8 years ago!) thread where Zenster and I finally went at it. Oh the nostalgia. Two points though:

1. I'm still amazed that Sue Duhnym (oh how I miss that name, I still remember the lightning bolt when I finally--months later--got it) let me anywhere near her Super Bowl party.

2. I see now that Javamaven kind of slightly took Zenster's side. 8 years later I feel belatedly betrayed. I'll get revenge.

EIGHT YEARS! Fuck I'm old.

ETA: Also, I found this. I believe it was a collaboration with Vince and it was when I first taught myself javascript though it doesn't work any more. Now we'd just do it as a custom Google Map. Kids these days they don't know how hard it was. Also, remember Dope Tats?
