Three Weeks of Exercise Not a great week. Early work commitments resulted in me missing two days altogether but fortunately I was back at the gym the next morning so I am hopefully not letting a skipped day provide inertia to stop. I seem to have quickly adjusted to getting up at 5:15 since even on one of the work interrupted morning when I could have slept a bit longer I still woke up then without issue. It does mean, though, that I am consistently falling asleep during the first commercial break for The Daily Show. Also, we were out of town over the weekend with friends in Pismo Beach. Both days I did get up and go out for a walk just to move around but it was hardly an aerobic level of effort (I just can't force myself to walk fast for any duration without a treadmill and I am not yet in the mood for road running. Anyway, the relatively light week seems to have meant that when I did get to the gym I upped the distance I was getting in the hour setting my 3-week PR of 4.34 miles today. Total distance covered: 60.9 miles. If I did that consecutively out on city streets, I could rest while watching a great view of planes landing at SFO.
