Tremble all Ye who Enter
Very little of interest here, so few would care. However, this journal is friends only. The only exception are my Photo of the Day entries, which I reset to public if I remember.

If you feel strongly that you want to read what I have to say, reach me somehow and I'll ponder.

One Week of Exercise

I've managed to get myself down to the complex gym for eight straight days. I have no idea how long this period will last but I'm enjoying it while it does. I actually feel better when my muscles (all four of them) are sore. I haven't really done anything to adjust my eating so I don't expect any significant weight change, just an improvement in how I feel at the weight I am.

One Week:
7 days exercised.

6 days of 1 hour
1 day of 45 minutes (treadmill)

6 days on treadmill
1 day on eliptical

21.1 miles done on the treadmill for an average pace of 16:21 per mile. Needless to say I'm forced to start slow and not much running is happening yet, but slow running is more comfortable than fast walking so it'll start playing a bigger role if I keep this up.

If I did that consecutively out on city streets, I could have walked from home to the CineArts theater I sometimes go to in Pleasant Hill.

Also, this week has highlighted brought to my attention that I have no idea where my iPod is since it has been months since I last used it. And for some reason the TVs in the complex gym do not get the 24 hour news channels and surprisingly there is nothing good on TV at 5:30 in the morning. So I am forced to watch the local news. Which sucks since I blame local news for all that is wrong in the world. If local TV news did not exist in the United States I suspect that Jews and Palestinians would be living in harmony today and that Two and a Half Men would never have made it to air. And coffee would taste good.
